J.A. Olawin & Co. is a firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Consultants in Ikeja, Lagos — founded in 2000 and led today by its principal partner.

Our story

Founded by teachers of the profession.

The firm was founded on 6th June 2000 by Messrs J. A. Olawin and L. O. Sule-Adekile, who established the practice that continues today under the name J.A. Olawin & Co. (Chartered Accountants).

Before founding the firm, the senior partners spent years training accountants — so many that almost every major institution and quoted company counts one of their ex-students on its books, and trusts their grounding in both the theory and practice of accountancy.

The firm is led today by a single principal partner, trained in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. We anticipate that future partners will be selected from qualified and experienced members of our own staff — preserving the firm's style and character as it grows.

The firm is licensed to practise as Chartered Accountants and Tax Consultants in Nigeria.

Our office sits on Basheer Shittu Avenue in the Magodo Phase 2 area of Ikeja — a well-established neighbourhood known for its accessibility and proximity to Lagos's key business districts: a calm, professional environment that stays conveniently connected to the rest of the city.

How we charge

Our fees are based on the time necessarily incurred on an assignment, coupled with the seniority of the personnel involved. We remain conscious, always, of the relationship between the amount of the fee and the value of the work to the client.

Qualified, dynamic, result-oriented.

The firm's personnel include Chartered Accountants, Computer Scientists, Economists and Statisticians — recruited under a sound policy and committed to all-round development:
